David Lee is a filmmaker and VFX compositor based in New York. Born in California and raised in South Korea, he began teaching himself video editing in sixth grade after being inspired by the Harry Potter films. What started as a childhood fascination grew into a passion for visual storytelling, eventually leading him to pursue VFX at the School of Visual Arts, where he graduated as both a compositor and filmmaker.

His work is driven by a desire to bring imagination into reality, transforming ideas once limited to the mind into tangible visual stories. He was also recruited to serve as the lead video creator for a 1,500-member church, overseeing its visual storytelling and producing weekly creative media.
